i do not have a wiring diagram i am merely a member of fix ya .com .however you may obtain one from even the local library you most definitely have an issue in the wiring i would suggest looking for an open circuit wire maby from rubbing against the body of the vehicle or having got burnt from the engine somehow causing this to occur starting point would be from the {ABS} and follow them up to the fuse panel for this to start with replacement of the wire is required if this is the cause and then securing it away from future occurance

I have a 1998 chrysler concorde. The airbag light on the dash stays on and my horn doesnt work. How do i fix this without costing me tons of money?


Could be a wiring problem or the clockspring in the steering column.
You would need to pull the steering wheel and test the circuits.

Cruise control fuse


You will need to get the wiring diagrams for the car and trace all wires and components operated by that fuse, check each wire and unplug the parts and see if the fuse blows until you find the short circuit.

2000 dodge stratus p1495 code problem


Check your connections on your leak detection pump and vacuum hose to the engine. You will need a scanner to do a wiggle test on the wiring harness this is a common problem.

The code is telling you that you have a problem with the pump.

DTC P1495 - LEAK DETECTION PUMP SOLENOID CIRCUIT
WHEN MONITORED Ignition on and battery voltage greater than 10.4 volts .
SET CONDITION The state of the solenoid circuit does not change.

POSSIBLE CAUSES: Fused ignition switch output circuit open
Leak detection pump defective LDP solenoid circuit wiring harness observable def LDP solenoid ckt wiring harness intermittent def LDP solenoid control circuit short to ground Leak detection pump solenoid control circuit open Powertrain control module defective

P 206 engine code what does this mean on a dodge dakota 2001?


This code refers to a bad fuel injector circuit for your number 6 cylinder. There may be a short in the wiring coming from ecu (electronic control unit/computer) to the injector somewhere and the problem would have to be traced from injector back to source. You can do this yourself with a multimeter by checking input voltage with that plug and comparing it to another one which is good. If you get no reading at connector try checking that point coming from the ecu to determine is you have either a break between those points or if its a problem with the computer itself. Haynes service manuals have detailed wiring schematics to make it simplier in tracing wiring (get them at your local parts store fairly cheap) good luck and let me know if you need any further help

Trying to install a push button ignition need to know which two wires to run to the button, without having to spend hours tracing and guessing. A diagram showing the wires would be great.


Your switch has 4 terminals.

1. Red is the hot wire from the battery.
2. Dark Blue is the run wire. This wire powers PCM, and engine and well as all accessories when the key is on.
3. Yellow is the start wire. It powers the engine, ECU and starter circuit when the key is turned to start.
4. Last terminal is accessories. I don't know the color, but it will power the radio, blower, windows, mirrors, etc. when key is turned to ACC. Some diagrams of the switch are below. Please let me know if you have any questions.

P1495 Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit Open Or Shorted
Code P1495 is for the LDP solenoid circuit. (LDP-Leak Detection Pump). This is a system that seals off the evaporative system of the car and then pressurizes it with the LDP. The computer looks to see how long it takes to pressurize the system, (depending on fuel level) and then determines if the system is leaking. Emissions regulations require this to cut down on fuel vapours from escaping to the atmosphere.You will likely have to get a dealer to diagnose this, unless you can find a shop that has a manual and DRB scan tool.
