Injector pump leak


This will almost certainly be the plastic fuel pipes connected to the fuel pump replace both of them this is a common fault the rubber o rings on the pipes harden and leak make sure you prime the diesel filter after replacing these pipes the engine can be difficult to start on this model once air is allowed in the system

If the engine is a diesel that is equipped with a turbocharger, I would look for a pressured air leak at any and all hose connections. Especially when the engine is running at accelerated speeds which cause the turbo to operate as a charger.
Check any and all belts for slipping, Alternator, P/S,etc.,

Grommett fell down intercooler charge-pipe on my 03 PT Cruiser. if I disconnect upper charge pipe and rev engine/spool up turbo will it blow grommett out or do I have to disconect the whole thing to locate...


If it was my car I would be tearing it down because I couldn't afford to buy a new turbo. Maybe it will come out if you spool up the turbo but if it doesn't there will be a new turbo in your future. Hope this helps.

I have a merc sprinter 311 cdi luton and it doesn't rev more than 3000 when idling or travelling and has no go in it whatsoever, do you think this could be an exhaust valve problem ?


i would suspect the turbo as these vehicles give exactly the problem you describe if the turbo pipes are split or broke ,also the turbos do pack up after a time as well and i have changed quite a few over the last few years and its not a job for the faint hearted as its extremely awkard to say the least but not insurmountable

Check engine light with P1330. 156,000 miles, regular maintenance and no issues with car's performance


P1330 CVVT Solenoid or is the Camshaft Actuator opening period which is too long.The Camshaft Reset Valve was actually quite easy and quick to replace (well less than 1 hours if one know what their doing). It is located under the Timing Belt cover/camshaft pulley. To gain access, you have to move the black plastic turbo pipes a bit out of the way. This requires removing the two turbo pipe screws closest to the radiator,and one turbo pipe screw mounted at the center of the turbo piping (it screws into a long metal clip on top of the piping). Then remove the hard rubber hose that connects to the turbo pipe closest to the windshield washer reservoir. The rubber tubing is fastened to the turbo pipe by a standard screw-type hose clamp. Pop off that rubber hose with a bit of effort. I would not try to pry it off, because you might break the plastic turbo pipe. Just use your hands and be 'persuasive'.
(If you have a non-turbo 2.9L, then the above two paragraphs don't apply.) There is no need to remove the long black plastic cover that covers the engine horizontally. You only have to remove the two Torx fasteners and two spring clips on the actual Timing Belt cover. Since the turbo piping is now loose, you can move it a bit out of the way to gain access to the two torx fasteners, then pop the spring clips and remove the Timing Belt cover.The Camshaft Reset Valve is at the top left under the Timing Belt cover. It is held in place by 4 bolts and has an electrical connector that also needs to be removed. Try to get the same unit with the same wiring, the new 'improved' unit looks slightly different and any requires cutting off the old connector on the engine harness and splicing in the new unit.

Indicator lights are staying on the left side of car when the car does not have keys in the ignition on mercerdes benz 320


Is your turn signal lever centered when this happens? German cars have a parking light feature. When the ignition is off. You can turn one side of the parking lights on by moving the turn signal lever in the dirrection of the lights you want on.Hope this helps, Good Luck!
