No power and losing oil on my 2004 isuzu kb300

My Isuzu 2004 kb300 is losing power dramatically more especial on a steep, it also lose oil after driven it for more that 300km

    It takes time to accelerate then it becomes fine afterwards, on a steep it drops very badly. am losing 1cm of oil after each an every 300km of driving.the engine was re-done with new, sleeves, pistols, oil pump and everything the engine requires for over-roll

Check that the rings were installed correctly as they can only be fitted in one direction otherwise excessive oil consumption will result. Check float level or fuel settings for the slow acceleration on slope power problems .

There are two drain plugs on the bottom of the pan. remove the lower one to drain the trans fluid. To refill, use a pump and pump the fluid into the upper drain plug until it seeps out and re-install the plug, similar to refilling a manual trans.
Once this is done, Start the vehicle and run it for about 3 minutes, shifting through all gears (do not drive vehicle Remove the upper drain plug and let any excess fluid drain out. Done. This is as per Mitchell OnDemand.

I worked for an Isuzu dealer and we used 10w30. All Isuzu v6's use oil and is normal for 1 or more qts. per 1500 miles per. Isuzu reps.!

The first thing i would do is replace plugs after checking if wires areok. I thought my fuel pump was going out but all it was, was bad plugs and wires. i replaced them and my gas mileage went up 50%.

Iv got isuzu kb300 automatic there is a check trans light that flashes on a cluster what might be the problem oil is enough and new

I suggest you begin by learning the exact function of the light in the vehicle handbook. If the handbook says the light is important it is almost certainly going to need attention from dedicated diagnostic equipment to locate the problem.

My isuzu kb300 2005model gives white smoke and sometimes it cant accelerate and engin light comes on

Welcome to the USA forum!
we don't have KB here. sorry.
History.(1 line, all bad)
2005 - Isuzu dealers in the United States have only one model, the Ascender SUV,
and guess what?, it's a rebadged GM car here, no more cars here, real isuzu.
KB are in Africa, Australia and in EUROPE not here in USA. so no books here to cover it.
nor is it covered here, at our great ,Mitchells online.

The KB300 is a 2.999 liter diesel, some are TDI. (most?)
and is called the 4JJ1-TC. (t= turbo)
That is direct injected, (means check turbo , and scan it first) after checking fuses.
The Check engine light on, same deal.
Check filters. for fuel and air.
2004 the D-max , family , introduced the DDI-ITeq common rail diesel engine.

So next time post your country.

My check engine comes on when in driving if i take my foot off the gas pedial and that apply acceleration again the light gose off. when the light goes on i lose power

I also have experienced this problem with my Isuzu D-Max pickup. Did the problem occur when you were having a long drive? Coz it happened to me when i was already driving for 1 hour at a regular fast speed. After that, the problem stilled continued, especially when i reach 100km per hour.

What I did to fix the problem was i had the pickup's alarms calibrated by an Isuzu authentic service center. Coz only Isuzu service centers can calibrate the alarms and i think they're the only ones who can diagnose the car's problem if the check engine alarm turns on.

After that, we found out that there was no problem with the engine. Just the "check engine" alarm's calibration.

95 isuzu rodeo is losing oil. No leaks and no blue smoke out tailpipe. Any ideas?

look for traces of oil in coolant, usually milky substance. Pull plugs and see if traces of oil or coolant are on plugs. Then do a cylinder leakage test to locate the vacuum leak.

My trooper just had a sudden power loss . shut it off, would'nt start back up. cleaned battery terminals, jumped it off. dramatic power loss, head lights dim. think mabey problems in the fireing?

try replacing ur altinator usually when u lose power or headlights go din it usually means ur alternator has lost its charge and will not hold up enuff juice to keep ya car running.
