My 2006 bmw 330xi wont start, the system is down the wheels are locked cant tow it.

If this is a floor shifter or center console shifter there is actually a lock release next to the shifter. Look next to the shifter handle and you should see a small square plug in the console remove the plug and you will see a little white button in it this is the shifter release push it and you can move the shifter.

Your steering column most likely is defective and you should be able to get this fixed under warranty. BMW discontinued this part in 2007. Its might go off if you put the key in the ignition and wait 5-10 minutes, but only maybe.

The noise is coming from the starter solenoid. The plunger is acting but the Starter Solenoid Contacts are burnt. In some cases we replace the solenoid contacts and the plunger. All have 1/8" thick copper contacts.
The other options are, replace the solenoid, or the starter with a rebuild one.

You either have a defective battery or loose or corroded battery cables, little else will cause this system, which is low voltage in the system. Most auto part stores test batteries for free, have it tested.
