I got a new battery for my audi a-4...now my radio wont turn on. i hear i need a code, but my radio wont even turn on for me to enter it. pep boys checked my fuses and said they are all fine...?

Yours radio has a burnt fuse in back right side of it (10A). You must extract the radio box out from dash panel in order to replace this burnt fuse. You need two special radio keys extracting tools. For Chorus and Concert AUDI radios use T10057 radio release tool:
1. Switch off all electrical equipment.
2. Remove ignition key.
3. Insert two radio release tools T10057 into slots on radio (bottom front side) until they engage.
4. Pointed ends of grips must face outwards.
5. Grasp hold of grips on radio release tool T10057 and pull radio out of dash panel.
6. Release and unplug electrical connectors at radio.
7. Press release tabs on radio and remove radio release tool T10057.
8. Replace the burnt fuse (10A) with new one.
9. Plug in all connectors.
10. Slide radio carefully into dash panel and engage it in mounting frame.

How DO I Remove The Radio

You will need as key to remove the factory radio from almost any manufacture. It was originally designed as and anti theft but anyone can buy them so its just a headache now. Try the local autozone or advanced...they should have them fro around $10. Just tell them you need the key to remove a radio from a ford and they will set ya up. The package will come with 1 key...now it takes 2 to remove your radio (one inserted on each side then pull raido) but if ya wanna save $10 bucks from buying two with some luck you can put one in and release (unlock) that side then go to the other and do the same..a lil harder but saves $10....you choice. Best of luck to ya

VOLVO 850 RADIO/CD REPLACEMENT

Yes, its simply to remove the radio wich is there (two clamps, one on each side) retract the connectors.
You might need to buy a compartment to conceal the part of the opening that will be exposed when removing the bigfront-radio.
(Volvo-dealers can help you) And a cableset wich contains the connectors to the Radio-connectors in the 850 and directly to the radio you buy. (Most radio-dealers hava all kinds)

New radio mounts in only e few hours. All included.
Theese Volvos are very well prepeared for this.

Radio removal instuctions for 2003 911 porsche

I am assuming that this is very similar to the Boxster. You need to used the becker radio tool remover. The key slides into the little notches in the lower far right and left sides of the radio face. The keys just release the catch, but there is nothing else you can grab to pull the unit out. I had to insert the keys and pull outward to get enough friction to remove the unit.
