Question about Ford F-150
A common problem with the 5.4 Engine is the Spark plug boots on the coil packs. It cost about $25 for the set. Replace all of them.. Also that is a lot of miles on those plugs, they should be replaced also.
You can find wich cylinder is misfire by starting the engine and unplug the coil wires one by one. If you find one that does not change the motor when you unplug it then that is the problem cylinder. You can do the same test for the injectors...

Try the O2 sensors. They are located on the exaust manifold under the hood. one on each side of the v-6/v-8 engine.. You can clean them sometimes and sometimes you have to replace them.... there may also be one on the other side of the catilytic converter. Good luck... Let me know if this helps you. I had the same problem so I think this can help you.
