Hyhundai Accent 1.6 shudders in reverse badly. Pressure plate broke and is replaced. Now shudders in reverse replaced mounting still shudders

Have the transmission tested for proper hydraulic pressure. Test the valve body and shift solenoids for proper operation.

My 2008 Ford f150 after a long drive shakes and shudders when reversing, what could be the cause?

if it is a manual , check engine mounts, "U" joints, centre bearing support
Shuddering in first or reverse in manuals normally indicates oil or grease on the clutch plate linings but I would check the rest first as you did not mention any problem when taking off
I would start with the engine mounts as reversing places strain on the opposite mount

Shudder in reverse and seems to be slipping forward gears good

It is an auto I take it and the problem will be a reverse band/clutch pack solenoid servo. It it is a manual then the clutch works the same way in forward and reverse so if it was slipping in reverse ,it would also be slipping in forward gears as well. Run the fault codes to check for TCM and servo/solenoid faults.

My son put way too much oil in his pulsar, he took it for a drive it blew smoke, shuddered and stopped. he drained the oil to the right level, took it for another drive but it still lacks power, shudders...

it is possible that the spark plugs are all oiled up, remove them & give them a good clean with WD 40 or the like to remove the oil from them & they should be fine,if not you may have to replace them & a long drive may be a good solution to remove any excess oil from the engine.......hope this helps......cheers.

Idle is high at start - 1800 rpm. Seems like excessive white smoke from exhaust. Put into reverse and back out of driveway it has a regular shudder (bump bump bump) but not hard metal grinding sound.....

white smoke out of the exhaust would be a sign that it is burning coolant... if it goes away after it warms up, it could just be condensation inside the exhaust pipe. 1800 rpm is a very high idle, maybe have your IAC motor on the throttle body checked... check engine light? if so have the code read at your local auto zone.

The truck shudders when put into 1st gear and you let out the clutch

You may have a contaminated clutch plate or there is distortion or excessive wear on the plate. Whatever the reason, a clutch assembly replacement seems eminent.

When i start the car and put in reverse, car cuts off. if it doesn't cut off in reverse it does in drive. then the car shudders, especially when slowing down.

how about scanning car and giving it a tuneup-clean throttle body and IAC then maybe change plug wires and dist cap--purchase a haynes book for maintenance-adios

Fiesta started making noises either gearbox or clutch? clunks going in to reverse, shudders driving off in 1st gear

sounds like your clutch is going out, is it hard to put in gear with clutch all the way depressed? could also be the sinkronyzer going out, could be the gears in the transmission also going bad. need to check the fluid in the transmission.
