Question about 1999 Jeep Wrangler
TPS can be easily replaced...It is held on by two torx screws. Make sure it properly engages the throttle plate when installing. It is not adjustable so it only has one position. I generally put anti-seize compound on the screws to prevent them from seizing into the throttle body, as this part is rarely removed.
I assume you have done proper testing and have actually verified that yours is bad. If not, do some testing ...random "parts changing" can get really expensive really fast and usually does not cure anything unless you are really lucky!
