Sound like you may have 2 problems. It only working on high is probably the switch inside and will have to be replaced. The fan being noisy is there could be something in the duct where it sits or the bearing could be bad in it and it will need replaced.

How can I fix My 2006 Honda pilots noisy Ac fan .

You have one of two problems causing a noisy heater fan. The bearing in the fan motor is getting bad or something has fallen down into the heater box ( napkin/paper) and compromising the spinning of the fan cage. You will have to remove the fan assembly and inspect for foreign debris and/or bad fan motor bearing

I have a 96 Ford Explorer that keeps blowing a relay for the fan motor after it runs on high for a few minutes

Assuming it is your AC/Heater fan.....does it sound like it is running at full speed/noisy ? If it is dragging....likely to blow fuse or burn relay contacts. Otherwise, wiring short to ground from relay to motor switch is possible cause.

Why does my heater in my 2000 ford ranger only work on the high setting?

I assume that you are talking about the heater fan?

Your heater FAN has at least 3 settings, and for our purposes we will assume low,med and high

Low and medium run through a resistor High is wired direct
Either your resistor is bad or your fan is
I know it seems wrong that the fan could be shot but it could be pulling so many amps that it won't work in any other mode than high
I just had this happen on one of my trucks
Start with the fan

How to fix noisy blower fan squeek for heater/air

Well you can lube the shaft on the squirrel cage fan side, but this requires removal of the fan.If you can get acess to the rear you can drill a small hole.About the size of a WD40 straw .Hole can be drilled anywhere at the far end as long as it is within the little nipple on the end. These are only temp. fixes. If it is not that hard to get to you may want to think about replacement. They are not that expensive around $25-30.Maybe more now it has been years since i have purched one.

Heater fan motor

The fan motor can be checked by using jumper wires. remove the wiring connector from the fan.Run the positive wire from the battery to the positive on the fan and the ground to ground. It should turn smoothly and at normal speed at 12 volts. If it is slow and noisy, the bearings making the noise. This indicates the motor is bad.
