SOURCE: I have a 1988 Mazda b2600 that starts, idles and

YOU NEED TO START CHECKING THE SYSTEM OUT BELOW IS SOME PROCEDURES SOUNDS LIKE A EMISSION ISSUE I WOULD RULE THAT OUT BEFORE GOING TO THE FUEL SYSTEM.

SYSTEM CHECK

  1. Check vacuum hose routing. If hoses are improperly connected, clogged or leaking, repair or replace as necessary.
  2. Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached and continue to run at idle.
  3. Disconnect vacuum hose from top of 1st EGR control valve. If engine runs smooth, check the valve.
  4. Connect suitable vacuum gage to disconnected hose.
  5. Increase engine speed to 2500 RPM and ensure vacuum gage indicates more than 5.9 inches Hg vacuum.
  6. If vacuum is not as specified, check water thermo valve, water temperature switch, No. 1 EGR solenoid valve and, on manual transmission models, No. 2 EGR vacuum switch.
  7. Disconnect vacuum hose from top of 2nd EGR control valve. If engine runs smooth, check the valve.
  8. Connect suitable vacuum gage to disconnected hose.
  9. Increase engine speed quickly to above 2500 RPM and ensure vacuum gage indicates more than 5.9 inches Hg vacuum.
  10. If vacuum is not as specified, check No. 2 EGR solenoid valve and No. 1 EGR vacuum switch.
  11. Disconnect and plug vacuum hose from bottom of EGR modulator valve.
  12. Connect a suitable vacuum hose to open port on bottom of modulator valve. Increase engine speed to 2500 RPM, then blow into hose and ensure vacuum increases. If vacuum does not increase, check EGR modulator valve.
  13. Unplug and reconnect hose to modulator valve.
WATER TEMPERATURE SWITCH

  1. Remove water temperature switch from radiator.
  2. Place temperature switch in a container of water.
  3. Connect ohmmeter leads across switch terminals.
  4. Gradually heat water and ensure switch opens when temperature exceeds 62.6°F.

your fuel pressure is too high......you have a faulty fuel pressure regulator or a bad computer (ECM/ECU). This is a serious problem due to the fact that the excess fuel is dripping into your engine oil. Get the fuel problem fixed and immediately change the oil and filter. If you do not do this, the thin oil will cause a loss in viscosity (lubrcation) and the engine will lock up/throw a rod. Good luck...

My 92 double cab mazda b 2600wont run unless you pore gas into inlet manifold. any one have an idea . the motor is injected

This sounds like your electronic fuel pump is bad.Check fuel pressure by purchasing a inexpensive kit around 10 to 15 dollars. Disconnect fuel line by the fuel rail. Install your tester. It should read around 30 psi. Also check filter element.

Under the dash is a brake light switch at the upper part of the pedal. This switch turns the brake lights on and off. As for the brakes not working, check you master cylinder and booster. It may need to be replace. These parts send the fluid to each wheel. If it's bad, the pedal is extremely mushy or not have pressure at all. Also check for wetness behind each wheel. You may have a fluid leak causing the same issue.
