Problem with 4wd vacuum system

Hi,
I have a 2002 Ssangyong Musso TD, my 4wd system is not working, my vacuum hose had a puncture in it but I'd fix it already but still it's not working! Can some pls tell what the problem can be or what can I do to solve the problem! I really need the 4wd system to work!
