SOURCE: Head gascket 3 litre

I have been a licensed service technician for several years, most of those years specializing in Toyotas. The problem you're describing is very common on the 4runner and trucks with the 3.0 L engine. The job to repair this is quite extensive and should not be attempted by anyone who does not have experience with toyota engines.I have redone numerous head gasket jobs which had been done by both licensed techs and do it yourselfers.Get a local dealership to check the vin to see if it is eligible for a campaign by Toyota which will replace your engine if there is damage to the block.Toyota warranties some of these engines no matter what the age or mileage.Either way make sure the repair is done by a shop with Toyota experience and don't skimp out on the parts if you plan to keep it or else you'll regret it later.

SOURCE: how many litres of transmission fluid does s80

I don't know off hand however if you ahve your maintancebook and service book it will tell you the kind of fluid car uses and the proper amount it takes. Alsoif all else fails use your HAYNES MANUAL. Yes you should have a Haynes book if you have a car. IMO if you have a car, you need a haynes for it. Good luck my friend.

SOURCE: Engine runs doesn't drive or reverse

first, check the transmission fluid lever, and see if it's low. ( the transmission dipstick can be found on the right side of the engine ( yellow knob ) ). check with your owners manuel, and fill as needed. you put the transmission oil in where the dipstick is. If that does not work, unfortunatly, you will be needing a rebuild ( 1800$ canadian, i don't know how much that compares to in your money)

Cheers

How muchtrans fluid do you put in it to a2003 trailblazers transmission line came out all the uid ran out truck want go forward or backward

I would recommend you buy at least four litres of gm capatable transmission fluid, usually dexron four, but be sure to check your owners manual on proper fluid specification, or call a gm dealer.
You will need a transmission funnel, locate the transmission dip stick( usually red in colour ) and start off by putting two litres of oil in, now start the vehical and let the engine warm up and come down to a normal idle , clean off the dip stick and re install it until it is fully seated, now pull it back out and check to see where the level of fluid is at, there should be a few lines inscribed into the dipstick, full, low and add one litre. It must be, between the low and full marks, not any higher, keep adding fluid gradually and rechecking until desired level is reached, be patient as this takes a little while,

Transmission fluid hose burst, fixed it, add fluid now the car won't move...

Two litres? Unless you are outside the USA, transmission fluid generally comes in quart containers. If you only added 2 quarts, yes, it's very possible the fluid level is low. However, you don't want to add too much. There should be a dip stick for checking fluid level. Run the vehicle until the engine is good a warm, about 15-20 minutes, and then check the fluid level. Add as needed. But remember, don't add too much. Add a little at a time, as you get close to full.

I have a 2.2 L 2004 Cavalier auto. I'm trying to find out how much transmission fluid to refill it with after a pan drop. I'm looking to buy only what I need.

About 3 1/2 litres is the average amount. Pour slowly 2 - 3 litres and check trans dipstick in Park with engine running..

I have a 1998 4 litre v6 that i want to put in a 1995 3.8 litre v6 mustang, will the transmission bolt pattern line up?

No, the transmission will not bolt up. Also the engine will sit too far forward because the holes are different in the k-member.

How do you fill the transmission fluid on a manual 1993 mazda mx3 v6

the transmission dip is located under the hood and with a funnel you put the transmission fluid in and remember to keep checking while the engine is running warm because it does tend to expand and you want to make sure you're right on the line when you see the red fluid on the stick.
