Question about 2003 GMC Sierra
Can anyone help,my combo van (barina)has a severe lack of power but not all the time,it comes and goes when its not playing up it runs fine but when it does you would be lucky to get 100 klm and hour out of it,usually it starts with an easy turn of the key but when the trouble starts it will stall after a few seconds of running and then wind over erracticly and takes some getting going and then suffers a huge power loss,i have been told its the distributor but dont myself,it has the throttle body carby type thing and has a couple of sensor type things attached to that with wires coming off them, the motor is in good condition with no loss of compression no blowing smoke etc,all new plugs leads dizzy cap rotor button etc, anyone with an idea will be my best friend for life
Try replacing the fuel filter. Get the pressure checked. Check the vacumn hoe going to the MAP sensor.
