Question about 2007 GMC Sierra 1500
The service stabilitrack light is on. after you drive about 50 yards it will go off.
This is a common occurrence for some random reason. It can be due to overheating of the wire harness, dirt on a sensor, or a couple other things too. If you do not have the factory owner's manual, you may not be aware of this. It is addressed in the owner's manual.
The good news is that the owner's manual says that unless the indicator stays lit, the problem is not really a problem requiring a trip to a mechanic, but a transient thing as a result of operating environment.
