Cooling fan inop 1995 mustang gt 5.o

you can check the cooling fan by disconnecting the plug at the motor and run jumper wires from the battery directly to the fan motor it should run if its working if it doesn`t run then the cooling fan motor needs replacing. if it does run then check the plug for a bad connection. other things can cause this like the cooling fan relay, the coolant sensor that sends a signal for the computer to turn on the cooling fan by sending a signal to the relay.

2002 acura running hot, Cooling fans are not comimg on and blower for A/C heater not working

Test both the cooling fan relay and the fuse (located under the hood and inside the control module box).

For the inop blower fan, test the switch if the fuse checks out.

Electric fan does not turn causing engine overheating when car isn't moving. Turning on the heater helps.

The inoperative cooling fan needs to be diagnosed, run the engine until it reaches 229degrees and seeif the fan gets power to turn on if so then replace the fan if not check the wiring and cooling fan relay and repair or replace as needed.

The engine is overheating at a stop but then goes down when I hit the gas. I have no Heat in the car. The radiator is full of coolant.

You may have one of several issues. Overheating at a stop indicates an inoperative radiator cooling fan, The no heat issue is more than likely being caused by an air pocket left in the cooling system from the overheating. I would suggst verifyuing the operation of the cooling fans, and then check for any air pockets in the cooling system.

Check fuses, relays, the hook fan straight to batt power with jumper if fan is inop replace. If it works find your wiring problem.

Cooling fans inop 2002 grand prix

Couple things.
Temp. sensor may be shot, which usually tells fans to kick on at appropriate temp. Fan may be physically shot from usage. With car OFF, see if you can spin blade FREELY. It shouldn't turn hard at all, if so, fan bearings shot. Hard to say if MIL is related to this.

Check engine light error code 480

P0480 Cooling Fan I Control Circuit Malfunction
-----------------------------

Chrysler has issued a TSB (#18-004-07)containing the fix for an inoperative cooling fan on 2005-06 Caravans and Town & Country vans with the 3.3L or 3.8L engines. The problem usually occurs after driving in heavy snow conditions where snow and ice form at the bottom of the fan shroud and block the fan blade. This condition also sets a P0480 code in the PCM. The fix requires a PCM reflash. If you have an inoperative cooling fan or a P0480 code, check the version label attached to the PCM. If a software update has not been performed since this TSB’s issue date of January 24, 2007, you should have the update performed before you start replacing any parts.
