Question about 1997 Acura CL
Just switched out new water pump worked fine for a while but had to add more antifreeze two weeks after replacement of water pump not a lot and the it was parked for a couple days due to snow storm noticed pretty big stain when i moved the car it looked like anti freeze but can't find a leak
Do a system pressure test.there could be a leak in a hose or a seal.does it still want to overheat or weird changes in the temperature gauge ?

I am guessing here so be nice with your thumbs up for me please. Have you checked the transmission fluid level. Rember that when doing so the dip stick measures in pints and not quarts, Let me know. I have some other ideas too. Raz

SOURCE: I have a 1997 acura
sounds like you have a leaking heater core. If there is a stong smell of coolant in the drivers compartment, and there are no leak under the car this is most likely the cause.
