Don't have an exact location on yours but they are usually found under the hood in a group of relays. Also, if you have a starter solenoid on the fender, you can remove the ignition trigger wire (battery (+) cable runs to it and exits to the starter...should be a single small wire next to battery connection there. just remove it.

Break the ignition supply wire under the dash and fit a rotary key switch, which can be bought from any good electronics shop.

We install them on units we do not wanted used by unauthorised staff after hours.

That way no key = no go

Dont want to pour cold water onto anyones ideas

But why go to the trouble of popping the hood and reaching into a greasy or hot engine bay when you can do it from the comfort of the drivers seat.

Relays are not switches and are not meant to be "Pulled" on a regular basis

What happens when you want to use the car and it is dark or raining

Also I would not be happy pulling wires off spade connectors on a regular basis as they do tend to spread

My daughter pushed a couple of buttons on the 2008 Ford Escape keyless entry. Now the car will turn over but not start. Where do I find the reset code for the keyless entry without taking it in.

Sometimes it's written in the owners manual .
Pushing buttons on that shouldn't cause any problem. I'd disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and reconnect. Might help. don-ohio (:^)

Insert your key into the ignition. Turn the key forward until it can go no further, without starting the vehicle.

    • 2
Press and hold the "Valet/Override" button located under the dash. Hold the button until the blinking LED light on your dash is solid. Switch your "Valet" button to "Off" if you have a button labeled "On/Off." Your alarm should now be reset. If you wish to enable the alarm, repeat these steps to turn the alarm back on.

    • 3
Remove wires from your battery if you wish to temporarily turn off your alarm. Disconnect the wire connected to the main power source to permanently disarm your alarm. Trace all wires connected to your battery and disconnect them. If you have no familiarity with your vehicle's wiring, you should take your vehicle to a neighborhood installer to disconnect the wires for you.

God bless you

How do you get a 2002 pt cruiser into neutral without a key its an automatic

Without disconnecting the linkage you don't. You would have to disconnect the linkage and put it in neutral manually. If your trying to tow the vehicle it is better to put the front wheels on a dolly or lift from the front. Towing a front wheel drive with the wheels on the pavement is not usually a good thing as it tends to damage the transmission. If you have no choice but to tow it with all 4 wheels on the ground you will have to disconnect the linkage and put it in Neutral manually or use the key to unlock the steering and shifter assembly and tie the steering. If your worried about battery drain with the ignition in the on position disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Where is the mass air sensor located on a 2002 chevy blazer?

The mass airflow sensor should be right by the throttle body.
Don't disconnect it without disconnecting your battery's negative cable first. You will damage it if you disconnect it with the battery connected.

I want to disconnect something in my daughters car to make it NOT

there is a fuse box under the hood, gm calls it the underhood electrical center, looks like a plastic box with a lid on it. you can pull the fuel pump relay, position F9. once you find it takes just a second to pull it, car won't start without it, or if it does won't run more than a few seconds and then won't restart. will do no real damage to the car, she might run the battery down trying to start it, but that would be about it. pull that relay and put it in your pocket, car won't work without it. hope that helps
