Question about 1995 Subaru Impreza

I have a 1995 subaru impreza and the horn does not work. The dealer said I need a new horn button, how hard is it to replace?

    Thanks for your reply. I guess what I need to know, is how to remove the steering wheel to get to the horn button.

    The fuses look okay, I don't know about the relay. It was taken to the dealer and they said the horn button needed replacement.

    its in the stearing wheel be sure not to rip the front covver while taking it off from their its not veryhard if you reconnect the wires i wouldnt recomend change all the wiring though

Well usually you have to peel the cover off pull upwards then back from the top part

What is involved in changing 1995 subaru outback impreza water pump

water pump is ran by the timing belt. when changing the water pump the belt should be changed to. and sometimes the timing belt tensioner needs to be replaced too.worst case senerio. about a 350-400$ repair.

There is a locking solenoid under the plastic shroud around you shifter. When you put on your brake the solenoid is supposed to pull back to release the shifter.
The buzzing you are hearing is that solenoid trying to pull back. Going to have to replace it.

very. the manual box is quite tough, as are most subaru parts. I have had a lot of imprezas and a legacy and they are quite bullet-proof except for a fuel starvation fault in hard-tuned turbo models but that due to fuel rail design and too much boost ;)

have you tried replacing it with an other? try one from a used one from a slavage unit, its cheeper than the dealer, when mounted check that all grounds are fasten ok.

Brake light's and horn dont work

disconect the break light switch and link a piece of wire between the two terminals and the break lights should come on
