Check tank vents for taking in water. Hope you have a warranty. Could be siphon effect from bad block. Seems like there would be a way to test water jackets in block.

1995 Altima 2.4L How to reassemble water pump to the water pump body(or water pump cover or water pump housing ) to engine block.

There's a YouTube video at the link below showing replacement of the water pump and thermostat. It's lengthy, but at 29:40 and 30:18, it shows the cover bolted to the block. It should give you a pretty good idea of the orientation of the cover and the water pump.
According to information I found elsewhere, 1993-2001 is all the same.

Water leaking on floor of 2005 camry AC

Ok well had same problem. The drain hose is blocked and is backing up and coming out of top of drain plug and tube into the car so the tube hanging down in engine bay left side of motor may be blocked with mud dirt or something else so check it and with aircon on if the water is not dripping out of the drain tube then it is blocked

My horn, radio and inside lights come on without the key in when it rains hard

It sounds like you are getting water intrusion into the circuit, probably into the fuse box. Check the fuse box for water intrusion, Pull the fuse block out of the box and check for corrosion on the back of the block. If there is corrosion then you are getting water into the box. find where the water is coming from and replace any weather seals on the truck or box. Also check to see if you are getting water through the windshield somewhere that could be running behind your dash.

Temp gauge shot up to max, grey smoke out of exhaust, never boiled up,car tried to run but lumpy, now no water in rad but oil is normal, filler bottle cap wont screw back on,, peugeot 405

sounds like blown head gasket (through exhaust port) fill with water and start up, look under car, and see if water is coming out of the exhaust pipe)note: if head gasket is blown thru exhaust port you won't have water in the oil. it will come out of the exhaust. if this is the case then possibly can fix with (k&w block sealer or comparable block sealer) since no water in oil engine should be fine.) but follow directions to a T on block sealer if you don't it could stop up the radiator and you'd be back in the same position. also make sure you fix problem that caused it, probably bad thermostat or water pump.

E39 touring 2003 front wipers are working but water is not comin from the washers. i can hear that motor is running, back wiper is fine. what could be the problem

The jet is probably blocked. Remove the pipe from the jets and see if water comes from the pipe. If it does, blow the jets free using compressed air, normally you can use the local garage tyre inflater, or a friendly repair garage will give them a squirt for free.
If water doesn't come through when you test, then the pipe may be blocked or even split. If blocked you can take it off and blow free using your mouth, and if split just replace.

I just replaced the water pump on my 1990 f150

You have to take the water pump back off and the peice between the water pump and the block and take it too and clean the surface off good with a metal scraper or sharp regular screw driver and put a new gasket on or if you cant get a gasket some high temp.rtv on the surface between the block and the adaptor to the water pump.

Water leaking in glove box? looks like there is a hose that comes into the box... water is dripping from that hose under the near the back of the engine .

There are three possible fluid can leak though the glove box.

Leaves and dirty block the drainage pathway..
Rain water/car wash water will seek the lowest spot.

AC condenser water drainage pathway may be block.

Windshield washer hose come off and window washer fluid somehow find it was to the interior.

Try to identify the smell of the liquid. It may just be Wet ones wipes.

Good luck

1997 2.0L oil in water at back of motor and on top of tranny neon

Check to see if there is a plastic "block" on the back side of the engine. It might say something about the thermostate being located inside the water pump on it. You may have a crack in that plastic block. Its difficult to see but if you clean and dry everything off then start the car for just a few minutes you should be able to track down where the water is coming from. Sometimes people think they are seeing tranny fluid when in reality its just the color of the new synthetic antifreeze GM uses
