Question about 1999 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
If you are getting the TC light flashing when
you are driving sensibly then the fault usually lies with the rear reluctor rings. These have a
tendency to split which gives an incorrect reading and the car believes it is skidding.

This is possibly a normal system. The electronic stability program light will flash any time the system senses a slipping wheel. If there is a problem with the system the light will stay solid. I would still run have the e.s.p. module scanned for codes. Take a good look at your tires and make sure it has the right size tires and they are all in good/same condition.
