SOURCE: water leak under the intake manifold,1995 toyota 4 runner

There is a heater core bypass pipe that runs from the block (under the manifold) to the bacl of theengine where you will see a flat rectangular "sheet metal" thing with a pipe coming out of it. The a rubber hose connects. You need to pull the top air plenums and intake to get to it. The p[ipe flange bolts to the block with silicone rtv as a sealant.

Where can I get a diagram of the intake manifold runner control?

Do a Web search under the terms (Your make, model, year vehicle) intake manifold runner. Or intake runner control solenoids, rods, etc. You may find Youtube videos.

The runners are sandwiched under or inside the intake manifold. Some had plastic clips which crumbled and the operating rods became disconnected. Some runners stuck too bad for the rods to move them.

Ford F140 4.2 Do Engine codes P0305, P0306, and P1518 relate to each other

I am assuming you mean F150 truck.
The answer is maybe.
Code 305 and 306 are missfire codes for cylinders 5 and 6.
Code 1518 is for a problem with the intake manifold runner control which could cause the other two codes.

P1518 FORD Description The Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) is monitored for failure during continuous or key ON engine OFF self-test.
Possible causes - Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) harness is open or shorted
- Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) actuator
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

I just replaced the cable to my IMRC box on my 97 Mercury Sable and it engages as soon as I turn on the car or when I rev the motor above 2500 rpm. What could have done wrong or didn't do when I put it...

intake manifold runner control has linkage about 3 inches long and is attached to the end of the manifold. never knew of one with a cable. but the box is suppose to move the linkage with the key on to run a check on the engine and it is suppose to open the intake runners at and above 2500 rpm's to induct more air onto the intake at heavy acceleration.

CK ENGINE CODE 1159

this code is for a pronblem in the intake manifold runner control system.
KIA use (as do many other manufacturers) the variable intake on their V6 engines.
It is a bosch developed idea that has an actuator which turns a vane inside the manifold creating either short runners or long runners for the air to flow into the head. The long runners help torque and HP at High rpms whereas the short runners help at lower rpms. The computer positions the vane by a stepper motor to the required position.
The actuator is underneath on one end of the manifold plenum chamber, you may need to clean or replace that item.

2000 neon check engine light is on

P1685 Skim Invalid Key.

The Sentry Key Immobilizer Module contains a Radio Frequency (RF) transceiver and a microprocessor. The SKIM transmits RF signals to, and receives RF signals from the Sentry Key transponder through a tuned antenna ring integral to the SKIM housing. When the ignition switch is turned to the On position, the SKIM transmits an RF signal to the transponder in the ignition key. The SKIM then waits for an RF signal response from the transponder. If the response received identifies the key as valid, the SKIM sends a valid key message to the PCM over the PCI data bus. If the response received identifies the key as invalid, or if no response is received from the key transponder, the SKIM sends an invalid key message to the PCM. The PCM will enable or disable engine operation based upon the status of the SKIM messages.
