How do I get a theft light to go off in a 2008 ford focus

This could be the key, the key receiver, the instrument panel(which has the security chip in it) or the PCM(power train control module). Your going to have to have it scanned to see where the problem might be. You might as well get it to a dealer, as most shops will charge you and then tell you it has to go to the dealer...Ford security is a pain.

1993 ford f150 number 5 and 8 injectors not working jump from 6 to 5 seems to change if the eec relay is bad i shouldnt get power to any injector correct or not

I think you are right if the eec relay was bad you would lose your positive power to all the injectors. have you checked all valves to see if they have positive voltage? the power train control module gives the ground to injectors does 1 and 4 work . check your circuit back to control module. check connectors and harness.

The Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.

This maybe a dumb question but can anyone help me by telling me were it is i can find the computer on a 2001 ford focus please and thank you

Hi, the PCM is hid inside the car behind the kick panel on the passenger's side.

Removal & Installation
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel side trim strip.
  3. Remove the cowl side trim panel (kick panel).
  4. Remove the glove box.
  5. Remove the passenger side lower foot well trim panel.
  6. Remove the two retaining nuts.
  7. Remove the generic electronic module (GEM0 and the bracket and position aside.
  8. Disconnect the 3 powertrain control (PCM) module electrical connectors and remove the PCM.
  9. Installation is the reverse of the remove procedure.
CAUTION Make sure that the PCM electrical connectors do not unlock when installing the GEM module.
