Look in the user manual for fuel shutoff switch which might be activated by towing. Normally this is only activated in an accident...

wouldnt start before all that or just after, (hummmmmmm)

Im not positive, but dont they have a switch in the glovebox? That is turned off for towing?

96 licoln contintal no fire to plugs coils test good

Try the ignition module. You will need a special tool usually found in the tool section at Advance Auto. (ford ignition module removal tool)

I need a diagram to replace the ignition coil on a 1999 Lincoln Contintal, do you have one for me???????

that would be found in the Hayens repair Manual they have them at auto zone.. sorry

1996 lincoln contintal flashers and turn signals do not work

Try this tip. The hazard flasher switch sometimes becomes sticky internally, so go out to the car and work the switch up and down repeatedly, then turn the key on and see if the signals begin working. If this helps then the multi-function switch will need to replaced. Hope this helps. Feel free to leave a comment in my profile if you need more help.

Throttle control sensor?

Probably clogged cat converter,see locale exhuast shop,they can check the preasure.

Engine turns over but wont start.......

The fuel pump relay is overheating. I switched mine with the horn relay and have never had a reoccurence.
