I can hear the humming sounds of the washer pump but no fluid

I can hear the humming sounds of the washer pump of my 1998 town & country but no fluid squirts out on the windshield. Instead fluid just flows down to the ground underneath. The rear washer system is working fine.

The best recommendation i have is to find a mechanic in your place to see and check the problem in your car. Also to let that person scan all other problem that might as well affects the current problem you have. Atleast you can assure to your self that you are driving a safe and functional parts car.
Hope this help address your problem. If you need more assistance just contact me. Thanks

I'm 99% sure you have tubing loose from bottom of washer reservoir. You will probably have to remove the reservoir from the vehicle or at least lift it above point of attachment and verify tubing condition. Then follow the tubing until you find the break in continuity. I'm not familiar with the layout of that vehicle, but you know where the reservoir is. That's the best place to start. Whenever you troubleshoot any system, always start at the beginning or the end of the loop. In this case the beginning is more easily assessable.

My transmission is slipping any ideas whats wrong with my 98 chrystler town & country van?

Have the transmission flushed, if you have a lot of miles on the car, the fluid may be too dirty to do it's job efficiently. It's a relatively cheap fix.

Water will come out for rear washer but will not come our for windsheild

Each window uses it's own pump & set of hoses. You'll need to first check the resivoir under the hood, fill it to make sure it's got good washer fluid in it that is rated for the wiinter temperatures in your area.

Nozzles do freeze up even with the windshield washer fluid if it's not rated for cold enough temperatures.

When you operat the washer pump you should hear the motor humming & if you do, and have fluid, then the nozzle is probably plugged and wll have to be cleaned.

If you don't hear the pump when you try to use the washer with the switch, then the pump or a fuse is bad & will have to be replaced.

good luck
