I've not run across this but let's apply some basic logic.
1. WHICH relay causes the problem to go away. Not like to be all of them. It's possible that something internal in the relay is "reconnected" when you push down.
2. Inspect that relay where it plugs in for evidence of excessive heat to the connectors or around the perimeter. If it's warped it may not seat correctly and you may have an electrical ground problem
3. Things shrink when they are cold it is just possible that the relay body or connector has "shrunk" some?

Just some thoughts

Good luck!

Check the idle air control valve for carbon buildup. Also check for a vacuum leak.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 2003 GMAC 2500 HD

Trace your fuel lines from the gas tank along the inside of your frame rail. It should be located about 2 or 3 feet from the tank.

It sounds like your alternator might be starting to go bad and the Battery Light is coming on because it is not charging the battery correctly. Have your Alternator checked with a volt meter, it should be reading 13 to 14 volts if working correctly. If not, replace your alternator.

Coolant leak 2003 sierra 2500 crew cab, gas engine. Great truck!

Check the oil, and make sure it is not turning a milky brown color. If it is, then you probably have a leaking head gasket/cracked head/cracked engine block. I normally wouldn't recommend this, but put some stop leak in it since the leak is not severe. Hopefully it will take care of it.
Good Luck
