Question about Cars & Trucks
Repaired 3 days ago by professional mechanic 3 hr away from here.on roadtrip .belt broke at 75miles per hour.yesterday fix engine light came on once with strange engine noise. I pulled to the side, killed engine then restarted. light went away and it seemed fine.then same high pitch noise this am for 2 min as I started it. Now it seems fine.Do I need to contact mechanic? How do warranties work? Would I need to bring it back to his shop??
Contact the mechanic who did the job and have him arrange for the vehicle to be transported back to his shop for repair . He will be responsible for any work and parts that he used and for the recovery of the vehicle . If there is a problem then seek legal advice to recover all costs from him if he will not honour his work.
