have seen this before, these vehicles have a history with fuel pump relays failing, also idle air valves getting carboned up (dirty inside) and idle air is restricted and engine dies, and ck map sensor vacuum tubing for cracks.good luck
GIVE IT A FILTER CHANGE-AIR, FUEL. MAYBE PLUGS AND WIRES DEPENDING WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME. FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER, DON'T MESS WITH THE IDLE SCREW-THAT'S WHAT THE COMPUTER IS FOR.
Could be. But more then likely it's the gas. The gas you get these days from the pumps will gunk up after around 30-40 days. I'ld change the fuel filter see if that works. If not you might have to take the tank out to clean off the pickup sock. It's a small filter type on the end of the fuel pump. Of course, you should do a pressure test to see first.
I had this same problem on my 2005 monte carlo, took mechanic a while to figure out it was the idle air control valve. They also replace the idle air control motor.
check for vacuum leaks at throttle body gasket. pvc valve stuck open.if all is good .change fuel filter .if still stall out check fuel pump pressure.if all is good .replace plugs and wires if they have not been changed.
I put a new fuel pump, fuel filter, and a fuel pump relay and the fuel pump is still not coming on. I am not getting any fuel. Can you please tell me what it might be.
how is the battery? any dead cells?
Brand new battery, and charging system puts out 13.9 volts at idel.
