SOURCE: I have a 2006 suzuki grand vitara, are the oxygen sensors the same in either bank of the engine?

Well, the upstream sensors are the same and the downstream are the same - so it takes two of each.
For the record you should never have to replace more than one or two sensors at one time. And trouble codes do not tell you the sensors have failed.

Replace crank shaft sensor

how to? who can, where is it? ask a real question.
Ill answer how can it tell , its bad.
these cars can have 2 or 3 engine options, to work on any
cars engine, you first need to find out, what engine it is?
mine is 2.5L V6, my last one , was 2.0 I4 .

why do you think its bad? is the ECU sending trouble codes, DTCs
for this sensor? either running or cranking, if not ,its not bad.
easy huh?
here is the scan list P0355 is the CKP sensor (crank)
got 335's? is that it?
The fact is the ECU is real adept at reporting this sensor bad.
even if it misfires 1 in 10 times. really

2004 2.0 grand vitara running very rich

double post.
now bank1 added.
your source of info is faulty. you are looking at others cars , assuming its like yours, its not.
post county car resides (smog rules) and where car was sold.
where it was sold dictates which EFI system your car uses.
The VIN will tell you this. post this critical information.
and answers get better.

2004 Grand Vitara won't start

the trans only blocks cranking so we can ignore the overdrive lamp.
when car will not start, (state , what engine you have first)? 2.0L I4 or V6?
the first thing to check is .
is the gas tank above 1/4?
is there spark. on all 4 to 6 spark plugs.
are all fuses good.
does the CEL lamp glow key on, if not the ECU/PCM is dead and there will be no spark or fueling ever. but fuses can blow and disable ECU.

2004 grand vitara will not start and solenoid will not click, Battery is fine.

Sounds like the ignition interlock at the transmission switch is out of adjustment or faulty. Bypass the key switch, at the starter, if it now cranks, it's in the interlock switch or the ignition switch.

Suzuki grand vitara (J20A) and error code P0340. What is it?

p0340 is indicating a problem with the CMP sensor .. thats "camshaft position sensor" ... the 340 would indicate that the sensor is open or shorted (not giving information) ... look for disconnected or defective CMP or CAMP sensor ..

1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara won't start. It started but stalls then will just crank but not catch, or if it catches again it stalls.

Install a good fast idle valve and see if this will solve the problem. If not, try replacing the mass air flow sensor.

2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara cranks but won't start

Most likely your timing chain.
This is a major problem 99 -05 V6 GV.
The Timing chain tensioner failed.
When the chain breaks it destroys the engine.
Unfortunately is an "Interference" engine.
This and the rear main seal are the big problems with these cars.
