It is on the rear of the block under the intake manifold. hard to see from to might need to get to it from underneath. The cheapest I have found them for civics was on amazon. they brake really easy and most of the time if you find a civic at the junkyard it is already been taken.

I have a 2002 Nissan Frontier 3.3l v6 I'm about to change my knock sensor but I also need to change the camshaft position sensor but I'm not positive of where it is located it say bank 1??????

I'm willing to bet you have weak upper O2 sensors & there's nothing wrong with your knock sensor. But if you want, the knock sensor is under the lower intake manifold in the back that is located under the upper intake manifold also called the upper plenum. The lower intake manifold is wedged between the 2 heads and is an enormous pain in the azz to get to. You can check the O2 sensors with a scanning tool that will show you the upper sensors in bank 1 & 2 bouncing electrical current from about .5v to 5v several times per second. Anything less show weak sluggish sensors. The resulting lean mixture causes a knock. Change the sensors and the knock goes away and so does the engine light after you reset it. It took me 6 months to find this problem after replacing everything else including the 6mth old O2 sensors fresh from China. Now I have Bosch. PS The lower sensors went 2 weeks later & I was told any more problems it's the fuel regulator. 2001 Frontier 3.3l v6. No problems since, it purrs like a kitten. I'd suggest the Bosch, it's a special design for that 3.3l engine.

Need info on knock sensor for Acura 3.5rl 2002.code p0330 bank 2. Location?

the knock sensor is located on a v 6 engine in the valley at no 5 piston position
there is another sensor directly opposite on bank 1 at no 2 piston position
for general information if your engine is not v 6 on a 4 cyl they are at no 1 and between 3 and 4 cylinders on the inlet manifold side and on a v 8 engine they are between 2-4 and 6-8 exhaust side and between 1-3 and 5-7 on the exhaust side

Knocking noise

Mechanical wear on engine, incorrect valve timing, lack of oil.
Knock sensors are detecting engine knocking so sensors not at fault. Ignore fault codes and deal with the noise.

What sensor would cause misfire on a 2002 Kia Sedona?

if it is really a sensor problem, this should be crank position sensor and/or knock sensor. those are all related to ignition system.

Where are the knock sensors located on a 2002 chevy silverado 2500hd 6.0 engine?

Knock sensors as a rule of thumb are positioned right beside a piston on the the block. It should be on the opposite side of the exhaust system. A knock sensor is actually a sensitive microphone or listening device. It listens to a piston performance under load. If it hears a knocking or pinging sound it will ****** the ignition timing and advance it again when condition changes. It would have a securing bolt in the middle which torqued to a certain spec and a single wire harness.
