Question about Mercedes-Benz 400-Class
Get lots of penetrating spray in & around , behind, down sides everywhere you can, in the area of the door latch mechanism itself, on the door. It's not unusual for them to get partially seized at the linkages and cause those problems. I've had to resort to removing inside door panel, just to get spray on them to loosen them up, then I coat them with white lithium grease spray after.
