SOURCE: A/C fan and radiator fan aren't working

There should be a relay controlling them, check the relay comm for power.. You can connect the radiator fan driectly to the battery to prevent over heating. It has two wires, splice them and connect them to the battery via 2 other pieces of wire. In my opinion its very difficult to actually help with this one remotely since we would need to be on spot to test the circuit. I strongly suggest haveing an autoelectrican check this for you. YOu can connect the radiator fan directly to the battery to help you get there..

BTW the radiator contains a thermostat. this turns the fan on and off, of this is faulty you will have the problem you described. check the thermostat in the radiator.

Please have a look on the following items:
- Radiator fuse, relay, relay 2 and relay 3. They are located in the engine compartment.
- Radiator fan switch. It is located on cylinder head on the water splitter near the thermostat.
- Harness wiring for broken wire, loose, contaminate or corroded connectors.

Radiator cooling fan not working on a 1999 saturn sl2

run jumper wires to the fan motor to see if they work if they work then try turning on the A/C to max that should also make the fan come on if that works change the switch in the radiator or the temperature switch in the cylinder head

One of my fan is not working 1999 Honda Accord

Which fan is not working, A/C or Radiator? Check fuses, if good disconnect fan plug, direct wires from battery to fan to check fan, if fan does not work change. If fan works check water temp sensor for radiator. A/C fan only comes on when A/C is switch on. Like wise radiator fan only comes on when water reaches a certain temperature.

Radiator fan stopped working. Changed the temp sensor switch but it still does not work

Try by passing the switch and see if the fan runs. Also check for power at the switch. If you have power and the fan doesn't run it's the fan motor. If you don't have power change the fuse and try again. If it does run keep an eye on the fan it could be going bad.

My car keeps overhating because my fans wont come on. i changed the radiator temp control switch and the thermostat

Warning! I don't know how to fix this problem but I do know it's very dangerous to work on these fans. THEY CAN COME ON UNEXPECTEDLY WHILE WORKING ON THEM AND INJURE YOU. These fans can run even when the key is off. Take it to a shop that knows how to work on them.

It does have a fan switch, it looks like a bolt head with 2 wires on it. It will be on the radiator near the bottom. Connect the 2 wires together to test the switch.
