If you havent fixed it by now then the problem is the Clutch Thrust Bearing in the bell housing is dry and got to be replaced,as when you press down the clutch pedal it pushes in the Pressure plate and alows the Centre plate to run free. But with the bearing sized up the Pressure plate facing were the bearing runs is wearing out SO REPLACE the clutch cover pressure plate as well and to do this you have to remove the gearbox first.

SOURCE: Squeeling noise when pressing the clutch

That noise is coming from the throw-out bearing, its dry and worn needs to be replaced. While you are in there you should do the whole clutch job becuse you need to remove the tranny to change that bearing which consists of Pressure plate, clutch plate throw-out bearing center bearing and resurfacing of flywheel.maybe even a new slave cylinder. Good Luck

406 estate 2ltr very loud squeeling noise when change from 1st to 2nd gear ok once in 2nd and above is this the clutch ? can smell a slight burning smell when under the bonnet

Might be the clutch but unlikely if only confined to a single gear and it is usually possible to make a faulty clutch produce noise when stationary to help diagnosis.

If the clutch will transmit the full engine torque without slipping there is unlikely to be much wrong with either the centre plate or the cover. Problems with the release mechanism can often be felt through the clutch pedal and clearly be heard to be in sympathy with clutch pedal operation.

I suggest you check the transmission oil level and then look around for other possible causes if another "look" at the clutch produces no results. Auxilliary belt perhaps...

Loud squeeling noise when i push in the clutch

Without hearing the squeal, I presume its coming from under the bonnet and only when the clutch is pushed in if so, I would be fairly certain that it is the clutch thrust bearing. To check start the engine, depress the clutch so that the squeal is present. Then whilst it is squealing gently rev the engine, if the squeal varies at at then I would be 99% certain that it is the cause. Unfortunately the only fix for that is replacement of the clutch. hope this helps

Renault Kangoo 1900 diesel van squeeling over 26 mph but ok if i hold the same speed.

suspected clutch throw out bearing
failing
pressing on the clutch pedal loads up the bearing and the noise stops but removing the foot from the peddle allows the the pressure plate fingers to spin a loose bearing race ans so makes the noise

I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 when you push the clutch in all the way there is a grinding noise and tough to engage into gear and there is a high pitched squeeling noise that comes and goes as the pedal...

you need to replce the cluch and preasure plate. the clutch is gone, its hard to shift because there is nothing left to pushout on the plate and the squeeling is from the same problem, the clutch works like brakes, when the pads are gone and you step on brake you get asqeeling sound from it being metal to metal the same thing is happening with your clutch

When i turn my steering to full extend either to right hand side or left, like turning my car in u turn...some noise is coming ..

the noise, like grinding or squeeling, is the power steering pump clutch,it is normal and nothing to worry about,(actually, its the fluid, bypass valve, that makes the noise)

When I press in the clutch it makes a squeeling noise. Does it need clutch oil or replacement ?

it sounds like the throw-out bearing is bad, and that usually will require a new clutch.... or at least it is the best option(the whole clutch has to come out to replace the throw-out bearing on most clutches)

With engin running, there is a squeeling noise which dissapears when the clutch pedal is depressed.

this sounds like the clutch throw out bearing is noisey, the only way to rid the noise would be to replace the bearing, but if going to remove trans you might as well replace the clutch also.
