Clock wont turn on

USA car, not all cars are wired the same. (my answers are USA)
ok you lost power to the clock (factory clock?)
so check ALL fuses.
the clock as about 3 pins.
1: ground.
2: Park lamp , 12v or less if dash dimmed in park mode.
3: power to clock.

if ground reads 12v, the ground is open
if #3 is not 12v, that feed wire, is dead.
the feed wires are called Honda, power distribution
the schematic is free for honda's (use a voltmeter to trace the voltage drop) (cut wires, for alarm or other hacks)

its there, see the clock pages.

Battery ran down.now radio/clock don't work. flashes Error.can this be reset?

try taking the radio out and looking on the top for the parts number. call Honda and tell them what is going on and they will give you a 4 digit code that will reset the radio. i had the same problem with my 05 civic, did that and it worked for me.
good luck

2007 Honda Accord--battery died now radio and clock don't work

Hi. Jumping the battery when the radio is turned on will often cause a problem. I would check the fuses for the radio first as one of them may have blown. Regarding the clock it is blinking and needs to be reset.

Since this is a relatively new car I recommend going to a book store and purchasing the service manual for Honda which includes the 2007 models. This will you how to reset the clock. Then keep the manual in the glove compartment for all future reference.

Good luck.

Rough ideal and stalls out

There are two likely possibilities: 1) Old/cracked Ignition system (spark) is being shorted out by water/humidity, 2) Carburetor icing.

1) This test is more effective if done at nighttime or in a darkened garage, as any spark arcing will be visible. Start the engine and let it idle. Use a spray bottle with water and mist your spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and ignition coil with water. If you see spark arcing or the engine starts to run rough or stall, there's your problem, replace the ignition component(s) involved.

2) If your problem only occurs during cold moist rainy weather (ie. 45 degrees or below), especially if it only happens during highway driving, you could have carburetor icing. There is a hose that runs from the exhaust manifold shield to the underside of the air cleaner housing. In colder weather a valve will draw heated air from around the exhaust manifold through this hose into the air cleaner to prevent icing. Either this hose is missing/disconnected or this valve is not working correctly.

Hope this helps!
