P1400 obd2 code for sprinter 2004 - Cars & Trucks

YOU WILL NEED A SCAN TOOL TO PLUG IN TO OBD2 TO FIND THIS.

I need standard OBD2 codes

It should be any code reader for 1996 and up vehicle which is OBD2 then google the code and it'll give you a list of possible causes or call your local auto parts store, give them your code and they'll be able to figure it out. O'reilly Auto Parts would be my opinion. And if you dont want to buy one because they can get pricey they do free engine light checks. It'll look something like "p0204" something of that nature.

what country? sorry , each country uses different EFI systems
so no country , no joy,. be the first to state country
my hit rate is 1 in 4271. where poster disclosed country car was sold.

there are many scan tools ,(0ld and new)
there are OBD2 1998+ canada cars + means and newer.
and obd2 1996+ cars.
and older OBD1 cars, here. I post for USA only.
and OBD2 2001+ in other countries.
and OBD2 2006+ in yet others, and last china in 2010.
so as you can see, no year & country makes all this impossible.

a real sprinter was only sold in JAPAN JDM market.
or to countries that allow JDM cars as import (not here)

look here and see the vast confusion on sprinters.

a real sprinter, may use OBD1, or Japans unique JOBD.

p2238 is the oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor #1 which is up stream in the exhaust manifold. My manual is showing that the current control crcuit is low. p2245 is the same sensor, showing that voltage circuit is low. Replacing this sensor should fix the problem.

the dealer shouldnt have to hand out radio codes to anyone. the dealer will need to see your licence and registration document to prove that you are the owner of the vehicle.
