SOURCE: No transmission fluid Dipstick on my 2007 Ford Fusion

depending on which trans it is there is a small dipstick on the trans at the front on the bottom these transmissions take a specific fluid so be careful

Fusion rolls in park


Only one thing can cause this, the pin that locks the transmission when shifted to park position is broken/sheared off, the bottom pan of the transmission must be removed and the broken park pin (referred to as the Park Pawl pin) replaced

Are you talking about an auto or manual transmission? There's no reason to flush the transmission, a fluid change will do just fine.

P0882 - TCM Power Input Signal Low, this is a transmission code, I recommend that you take it to a dealer or qualified transmission shop. Hope this helps.

What is Fords recommended service for a 2009 fusion at 25000 km? The dealers seam to be adding all kinds of extras.


1. Check brakes
2. Inspect axle shaft seals,Constant Velocity Joint Boot, Transmission
3. Lubricate Chassis,linkage,steering, suspension
4. Replace Engine oil & filter
5. Rotate Tires
