Take to Auto Zone and have the computer control module checked. Normally Auto Zone performs this service free. Or you could remove the computer modle and take it and have it checked.

Have a 1999 dodge Durango, It has a 5.2 motor I can drive it about a mile in a half all of a sudden it wont move plz help I'm a widow and don't know what to do ?

When you say it won't move, exactly what do you mean? Is the engine shutting down and won't restart? Is the engine running what appears to be normal, but the vehicle will not move when put in gear and just revs up? Does the vehicle stop moving and fell like it is trying to pull, but it seems like something is holding the brakes on? There are different possibilities based on the actual symptoms, so try to be a bit more specific if possible.

Oil pump

Generally speaking... Yes, that's normal. That's how it works.

The car is cold in the morning and the oil thicker. When the oil warms up it thins down some and flows better. When the flow improves the pressure comes down.

What you want to look for is changes. Did the car used to idle when warm at 30 and all of a sudden it's at 5psi? That would merit getting it checked out.

Motor shuts down when reaching normal operation temp

Sounds like the mass air flow sensor or the air intake temperature sensor. Sometimes just wiping out the throttle body/air intake can make all the difference

99 durango breaks down after driving for awhile and wont start back up for 10-15 min with everything dead on the gauges and no bus flashin...... once the gauges move it will start..... is it the crank

Sounds like it may be an ignition switch. It old be fairly easy to check when the symptom occurs. You could have the steering column covers pulled to gain access to the switch. You will need. Test light or a volt meter to check the switch. If you have one of those let me know and I'll get you some more info.

We have 99 Durango that will shut down while driving, fuel gage will show empty when tank is full.

It sounds like your fule pump is going out, this would explain the no gas on your gauge. You need to replace the fule pump assembly, this will come with a new fule level sensor as well. Hope this helped, if you need some tips on removing the fule pump just let me know.

All of sudden my reverse wont work in my 99 durango

You may need to change your transmission fluid and filter.Reverse is the first to show problems when your fiter is clogged or fluid is low. Im assuming you've checked the fluid. The reverse bands require the fluid to travel the furthest. This is the cheapest way to start investigating tranny troubles. If, when you drop the pan you'll see a small magnet. If the magnet has a large amount of metal filings on it, you could have worn clutches. Some filings are normal but if they include a splinter- like texture, you've got damage.
