Did you check the mass connections to the fuse box? - would be somewhere behind/ above the fuse box - all connections good there?

Used a light sensor to check those and various other things and it was fine Window wipers only dont go sometimes I think it could have something to do with replacing headunit But then i dont know if the problem was already there cause ive only just bought the car

SOURCE: lights, wiper, meters and dash board lights not working

The body control module, BCM is responsible for the function of all of these, and if it has lost communication, or is not functioning, then none of them will work. Not to be discouraging, but this is not a problem to be tackled without a DRB II, a subscription to DealerConnect, and a Daimler Chrysler Platinum Certified technician.

SOURCE: bad tail lights on 89 chevy 1500

you should be able to just unscrew two screws that holds the tail light to the truck, then just twist and pull to remove the bulbs then replace with a new bulb, this should fix it. otherwise its a wiring issue

Sounds (i can't know for sure unless i can test it) like a bad relay or a connection is broken. Have you checked underneath the hood in the fuse box in the engine bay?

SOURCE: i have no windshield wipers, tail lights, &

This seems simple. Must be a fuse blown.
check in your fuse box below the steering wheel and locate the tail light and wipers fuse if the small wire is broken then its buggered.
Replace with the appropriate rated fuse and re assess.
If still not going then check the bulbs in your tail lights.
All of these maybe on one fuse so if thats gone that explains why they are all out..
keep me posted.

Neither park tail or dash lights go sometimes neither will wiper blades have checked fuses all are fine its a 89 mazda wagon

most probably switch - can you fiddle with it and then it works? Maybe you're lucky and with spraying a little contract spray in the right place will fix it for a while - switch still has to come out so - second possibility is some wear on cable or broken through cable still making contact at times

Wipers wont go off

When you turn off the switch, there is a second switch in the wiper motor that continues to run the wipers until they are parked. If the window where that switch does not keep the wipers running is too narrow, the momentum of the motor turning will carry the wipers past the end of that window—they will continue until they are not-quite-parked. But not-quite-parked, in an absolute sense, is not parked at all, and that switch will reestablish contact, running the wipers to try to get them to the parked position.

Once there, the overrun happens again, and the cycle repeats.

Beyond that, if that switch gets stuck it will keep running the wipers, parked or not.

Sometimes the wiper motor can be easily accessed, opened up, and that switch can be serviced and properly adjusted. Sometimes the motor needs to be replaced.

Find the connector that runs the wipers, and disconnect it while the wipers are running. The blades will stop where they are.

intermittently, and briefly, reconnect the wipers trying to get them to move only 5 or 10 degrees at a time. This will avoid the motor get up a head of steam. If the wipers stop responding to this once they are parked, the window that the switch considers "parked" is too narrow. If they just keep responding to the application of power, even when they are really in the parked condition, then the switch has arced shut.

Fuel and Temp Gauge go on and off intermitently

faulty wiring for the lights, and blinkers....

broken gears for the fuel and temp gauge...

just get rid of the damn car, get a Civic of the same year.

I was given a 323 once, unsiezed the rear brakes (the idiot left the thing parked with the e-brake on all winter), then sold it for beer money.

My 89 mazda 323 turns over but wont start

Last week my 323 89' Mazda stop working as I was driving it in middle of the street, I pushed to the side. it would not start, the starter sounded ok, but the car just didnt start, I checked the fuses, gas pump, and all seemed to be ok, finally with the help of a friend we found out that the ignition rotor at the distributor wasnt working we then replace it with a new one from autozone , is about 5 dollars, now it works just fine, big problem easy solution.

Windshield wipers stopping or not working at all

This reply probably too late but -
Is this a wiper motor problem?
The motor may be OK but the parking switch has likely failed.  It should normally supply power until they reach their parking spot unless the main operator switch is still on and this probably controls a relay that may be faulty.
If you have had the problem corrected, you might post the problem found back here as a comment to aid others.
