Not to my knowledge. The knock sensor is to actually retard timing when the engine pings or knocks. Check for power at the B+ at the starter. Also check for power from the ignition on switch at the starter while the key is in the crank position. If no power at B+ check for open or loose connection or blown fuse. I no power from ignition check for loose connection or open in the wire and check ignition switch as well. If you have power in both and the starter doesn\'t engage replace the starter. Before all this make sure your battery is good and connections are clean and tight.

HOW TO FIX P0017 ERROR ON 2007 HHR

Well the code means there is a problem with the cam sensor position for bank 2. The sensor is telling the engine computer the cam is in a different position that it should be.
You would need to check the signal from the sensor, and the actual cam to find the problem.

HOW TO FIX ERROR CODE P0017 ON2007 CHEVY HHR

First, visually inspect the cam and crank sensors and their harnesses for damage. If you notice broken/frayed wires, repair and recheck. If you have access to a scope, check the cam and crank patterns. If a pattern is missing, suspect a bad sensor or a slipping tone ring. Remove the cam gear and the crankshaft harmonic balancer and inspect the tone rings for proper alignment and make sure they're not loose or damaged or that they haven't sheared the key that aligns them. If they are properly installed, replace the sensor. If the signal appears normal, then check the timing chain/belt for proper alignment. If it's misaligned, check for a damaged tensioner that may have allowed the chain/belt to slip a tooth or several teeth. Also check that the belt/chain isn't stretched. Repair and recheck

Car doesn't start after replacing both knock sensors

The car should start without the knock sensors, why would you change the knock sensors? They are a piezo quartz generator that rarely go bad. Usually other symptoms of engine faults produce a code that say there is a knock sensor problem. Back to the no start thing, maybe you may have caused a unrelated problem. Bad reconnection or something. Retract your steps to see if you did something wrong

My 2006 chevy hhr gave me a p0327

Code 327 is a problem with the knock sensor circuit.
Code 304 is for a cylinder miss on number 4.
The knock sensor circuit would need to be tested, and you would need to figure out what is missing on cylinder 4. Spark, fuel, or compression.
