2004 dodge ram. oil leak. Problem started yesterday. It is a slow drip. What could the problem be? 135,000 mi

Check oil filter to make sure it is tight.
Check to see if you can tell where it is coming from, if its around the oil pan then its more than likely the gasket.

I have a 95 dodge ram 3500. It has an Oil leak on the drivers side top of engine between the block and and the diesel fuel system. I have replaced 2 lines by the power steering pump, But that wasnt the...

The oil pump is located inside the engine. Down in the oil pan. It sounds like you need to replace your valve cover gasket. I would make sure to buy Fel Pro. They are the best gaskets in my opinion.

I hope this helps you! If so please click YES! Thanks!

2001 dodge 2500 4x4 high oil consumption

These are know for having a leaking gasket on the bottom of the intake that will cause oil consumption. To test for this take the pcv valve out of the passenger side valve cover and the crankcase filter out of the driver side. With the engine running put your thumbs over the holes in both valve covers. It should build pressure. If you feel it pulling a vacuum, the gasket is leaking. You have to remove the intake and flip it over on a bench to change the pan gasket on the bottom.
