Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
How to restart automatic shutdown on 2000 grand jeep cherokee
Posted on Jun 12, 2013
Check the automatic shutdown relay (ASR) in your fuse box under the hood close to the battery. Try switching the relay with an other relay and see if your still have the problem, the other thing that can cause this is a bad sensor like the cam shaft sensor or crank case sensor going bad. Try switching the relay first then if there is no change, try pulling a dtc code from the computer, Here is a link and hope it helps, keep me posted. Be glad to help http://www.allpar.com/fix/codes.html
