Those are camshaft sensor codes. Ford has been having issues with the early eco-boost motors. Probably just a sensor that needs replacing.

How do i troubleshoot an engine code p00014 ?

From www.dtcdecode.com, those are Over Advanced Camshaft Position for banks 1 and 2 on Cold Start. Not sure of the strategy on that engine management system, but I would not think the cam position sensors are both bad. The system is receiving some information that makes it think the cams are over advanced (possibly a temperature sensor). Check for TSBs relating to that issue at a FORD dealer or subscribe to a service such as www.Alldatadiy.com or Mitchell's www.eautorepair.net . These web sits are well worth the cost, which is under $50.00 for a year's subscription. Hope this will get you going in the right direction. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Knock sensor code just came up 56,000 miles.recently added octane boost to fuel system. wondering if that cused my problem or just a faulty sensor

Since the code came up since adding the octane booster, I would say that is the problem. If you don't hear a knock coming from your engine, wait until you are at about a 1/4 of a tank and fill it up. This problem should go away on it's own.

2000 f250 supercab. Engine light comes on. When you connect to a computer checks ok.

Hi, if your car engine light comes on and after connecting it to the computer it looks o.k, then you should try reseting the engine light by remove the positive battery cable from the battery post and leave it off for about five minutes. Then, reattach the battery cable to the battery. You can do this with a basic 1/2-inch or 9/16-inch wrench. Removing the battery cable will reset the "Check engine" light as long as there is nothing serious wrong with the engine.

My nissan frontier crew cab 2001 SERVICE ENGINE SOON light on the dashboard kept flashing. Have serviced the engine, but the light won't stop flashing. Thanks

That means you have a failure somewhere in the system (Powertrain, Chassis, Body, Network). Just because the engine was serviced doesn't mean anything. You need to have the diagnostic codes pulled to determine what is causing the light to be triggered. Then correct the problem and the light will go out. If you just erase the light or code it wont solve anything.

Check engine light is on, codes say throttle body sensor. Replaced sensor, light back on in two days, now truck seems to rev an extra 5000 rpms occasionally when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. 2001 Nissan...

the throttle body butterfly is letting too much air through so its probably stuck or dirty, they should be cleaned every service but noone ever does, if its revving beteen gears then its prob getting stuck in different places so it could probably just use a good clean out
