I had the same problem - ended up having to replace the entire fuse panel due to a short in the system. I haven't had the problem since the fix.

SOURCE: Hi, I have a 2003

I have a similar problem. The remote sometimes opens all doors, and other times it will only open the 2 rear doors. Once inside the vehicle, the driver side window controls intermittently operates all windows and doors. It has no effect on the 2 rear doors, as the window controls still work. This behavior happens intermittently while driving the vehicle.

SOURCE: All of the door locks but one on our 1999 GMC

there is a relay but if it were bad none of your locks would work. your problem is the door lock motor it is a little electric motor that actuates the lock. its also called a door lock actuator. kind of expensive and a little difficult to replace.

What would have blown the fuse? A defective component? So fuse or not there is an issue in the system and a new fuse will just blow again. Check the owner's annual for fuse locations, if there is a separate fuse hen it will be listed there.

How to remove the front wheel bearing assembly

You can't compare a 1500 Chevy with a terrain. First remove the wheel, then the brake caliper, bracket and rotor. Remove the 36mm nut securing the axle . pivot knuckle to removethe bearing aattachment bolts . make sure to disconnect the abs harness as this is part of the assembly. Nay have to use a hammer to get the hub out of the knuckle. Install in reverse, torquing the axle but to 165lbs.

If you armed the security system with the key Fob Transmitter it will stay armed until it is disarmed with the transmitter if the door switch is bad in the latch.
I would try to unlock the doors with your remote transmitter. If this doesnt help try to unlock your rear Trunk/tail gate with the key making sure all doors are closed. If this doesnt work you may need to perform the VTD relearn procedure. Let me know If thats the case Ill give you the instructions you need.
