SOURCE: How to change air conditioning filter chrysler crossfire 2005

I found a chrysler blog. Pull back carpet on passenger foot well, remove white styrofoam computer protector. Remove cardboard cover (remove two screws) from bottom of glove box. On Left side see a slot with plastic cover and two sliding latches. Open and remove and replace filter. Follow reverse to finish up. It is tight fit and hard to get to for normal sized man.

Put it on a scanner, not a code reader. This will lead you and I on the path to a fix. Could be any part of the AC/heater system, including wires.

Whers ac filter

If you are speaking of the filter that filters the air coming from your ac vents, that is referred to as the "cabin filter". The removal and installation procedures are listed below with illustrations for your convenience. Not that difficult, good luck.
