The cooling fan on my 1988 chevrolet beretta does not work HELP

Check cooling fan fuse in underhood junction block Should be large green 30 amp.Also can turn ac on and tap C/F motor with hammer,Can also test by running auxilary power and ground wires to fan.

The cooling fan stays on if the fan switch is left on... but if you turn off the switch it turns off.... is this the cooling fan switch or something else.... my granddaughter just got this for her 16th...


If you are talking about the radiator cooling fan,then the cooling fan relay is bad,and is stuck on,or someone has hot wired the fan directly to the ignition switch,and needs to be wired back to where it belongs,so that it cuts on,and off with the engine temp.
