SOURCE: Heated seats not working on

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Check for a broken wire connecting the heating element. A common cause for the heated seats to not work is a burned heater element. There is an element under the seat cushion cover, and one under the seatback cover. If either has failed, both will not work. Take the seat apart and investigate the problem thoroughly.

Determine if the front seat assembly heat element resistance values are within the specified range.
If the resistance values are NOT within the specified range, install a Front Seat Heater Package between the existing front seat trim cover factory heat elements and the seat cushion and back foam pads.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

SOURCE: 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora Rear Rattle

If it's making a clunk noise when hitting bumps, check the mounting plates and bushings that hold the rear end to the frame. GM made these plates out of aluminum and the bolts that go through the plate and the bushings rot out and the rear end slams against the frame.

2001 olds aurora, no power to passenger side window modules..plugged them into driverside doors they work.. also tried pass. side window motors on d.s and they work fine, any idea on what wire is power....

If the driver window works, the 30A PWR WDO CB and the 10A DRVMDL fuse in the rear fuse block must be OK. The passenger window gets power from the 10A PASS MDL fuse and that should be checked. The rear windows get power from the 10A RRDR MDL fuse and that, too, should be checked. The same circuit breaker and fuses protect the door locks so replacement of the burned out fuses should clear up your problem

2001 aurora rear door lock and window does not work

There is a door module in each door. This could be the issue and would be the next part I would try. I have also had issues with the connectors going to this module.
Note also that the switches are tied into the master switch on the drivers door. Make sure the "window lock" is not on. Although this would not effect the power door lock.

2001 oldsmobile aurora rear door driver side window glass falls down and does not work with the electric switch

If you can hear the motor running while pressing the window switch you may have a broken clip or something in the way causing the window to slip off track. If no sound comes while pressing the window button you may need a power window regulator motor "OR" the window button itself may need replacing. If the window was down when it stopped working and had to be manually rolled back up, this can cause the glass to randomly fall back inside the door. This is because the car thinks that the window is still down and will continue to fall until it tells the computer that the window was closed using the power window button. If the window falls at just the wrong angle you could end up having to replace the glass as well.

2001 oldsmobile aurora right rear window will not go up or down, you can hear the motor running and how do you get the door panel off. there are no screws showing.

the rear windows on the aurora move on the guides using cables and they jam up in the runners to fix this yuo will need to replace the window regulator.

The rear drivers side window is off the track. can i fix it myself

Yes. A new Window Regulator is a bout $60.00. (eBay)
You will need to remove the door panel. There are three bolts holding the Regulator in (10mm) and two more holding the window glass to the regulator. It's a little tricky getting the regulator out and back in.
You will need to position the window and regulator about 2/3 up so you can get to the screws.

Power window stuck in down position

I had same problem in my 95 grand am the window motors were just bad,but those window motors can be a pain in rear end because the screws are so small and theres very limited space in the doors. That sound like your problem. GOOD LUCK
