Question about 2007 Infiniti M45
Left doors unlocked last night. Went out to smoke within 45 mins of me being out there last and the headlights were on. I went over and shut them off. Wouldn't start this morn so I went and put a new battery in. It started so I thought it was fixed. Went to leave 30 mins later and it wouldn't start but all the power in the car was on and couldn't be turned off so I disconnected the battery and now I need HELP PLEASE???

Reboot - just disconnect the battery + cable for a few minutes and reconnect. This should restore all default settings.

SOURCE: 1999 Infiniti 30 wont start.
Sounds like it went into theft mode when you unhooked the battery and tried to start it multiple times. Most cars have some sort of SKIM key which is a key with a computer chip in it that is programmed to a module in the car. If this programming is lost by a battery diosconnect it usually needs to be reprogrammmed by a dealer. The reason it won't start is because the theft mode probably has the fuel or spark disabled as a theft deterrent.

Testimonial: "Thanks alot. It was the starter...."
SOURCE: I locked my door but
It's probably an anti theft lockout device that disables the ignition and /or starter. I would say there's no way to reset it without going through a dealer. If you have a key fob that unlocks the doors electronically you might try using that. Or try locking the open door then closing it and unlocking it again then getting in and trying to start it. Try all kinds of combos but I'll tell you...replacing batteries, fuel pumps, things like that will just be a waste of money. Try all those little combinations of locking and unlocking the car, if none work...call an Infiniti dealer. I know it stinks but with a car stolen every few seconds it's really for your protection. Good luck.

You might just need to reset it. Roll the drivers window down and close all the doors. Lock all the doors with the key ) turn the key to lock twice, The electric locks should lock all the doors. wail a few minutes and unlock and open the trunk with the key. relock the truck or just close it. unlock the drivers door with the key, twice. all the doors should unlock, get in and start the car. Now this does'nt always work. If it does'nt we'll make the system think it's running. Close and lock all the doors. open the hood and disconnect the battery, one ccable will be fine. wait a few minutes. Reach in though the open window and turn the key all the way on. Don't open the doors, go around and connect the battery hard so it does'nt jump or skip. Reach thought the window and start the car/ once it's running. turn it off remove the key and unlock the door from the inside and open the door ( as if you were inside.) get in and start the car and everything should be back to normal.

SOURCE: i live in north dakota,
sounds like the solenoid in the starter, is stuck and not engauging all the time.. if it were your starter relay, then the lights wouldnt dim when you try to start it...id take it out, and have it rebuilt if i were you, thats a lot cheaper than buying a new one.
