Question about 1997 Honda Accord
I have an Accord and it stalls sometimes at stop lights when I press on the gas pedal. If I time it just right and coax it a bit it will run fine, but if I am in a hurry the car will stall, this happens more often when the A/C or heat is on. Also when I am driving, when I take my foot off the gas the engine/car will jolt a bit the moment my foot is off the pedal, and will also jolt when I put my foot back on the gas. I have checked some of the sensors and they appear to be fine, but I am possibly leaning towards the TP sensor, but no definite signs that are telling me specifically what it is. I have also noticed that when the car is at idle and I turn on the AC the RPMs bog down for a moment but then pick back up to where it initially was, should the RPM's be higher or stay the same? Thank you for any help. I can probably add more detail if requested.
It sounds like you need a complete tune up and have the cooling system fushed and filled as well. It sound like it needs some TLC.
