Check the Fuse box to the radio. If the fuse is ok and your car being a 06 you may still be covered under warranty and may be replaced at the dealer free of charge. The fuse panel for the 2006 impala is located on the left side of the dash.Open the drivers door and you will see the cover for the fuse panel. The fues panel door shows what each fuse is for. There should also be spair fuses on the fuse panel door. Best of luck.

Probably radio if fuses are not blown, see owners manual for fuse locations.should be 2,those model gm radios are natorious for internal failure. If radio is problem do keywork search for LKQ or Greenleaf, both supply low mileage parts including radios with good warranty, will ship anywhere.Insurance companies use them.

2001 Impala TPMS reset, radio and headlight options DONT WORK

CHEVY IMPALA &
MONTE CARLO

On a Chevy Impala or Monte Carlo with indirect TPMS, a totally different reset procedure is required. You can use the light switch or radio to reset the system. With the light switch procedure, turn the ignition on (engine off), the turn the light switch from OFF to parking lamps three times within five seconds. With the radio technique, turn the ignition on (engine off). With the radio off, hold the DISP button until “SETTINGS” is displayed. Use the SEEK button to scroll down the menu until you see “TIRE MON.” Press the PREV or NEXT buttons until “RESET” is displayed. Then press the DISP button again. You should hear a chime and see “DONE” to indicate the TPMS system has been successfully reset. Use the SEEK button to scroll through the menu until “DONE” is shown, then press DISP once more to exit from the learn mode.

Disarming therftlock radio on 2003 Chevy Impala.

I think you may have read it incorrectly...you do not disarm it, you need to know the code, so when you are finished, you can turn it back on.
If you don't have the code the dealer can give it to you.

I switched my stock radio out of my 2001 Chevy Impala because it was defective and replaced it with a used radio I got from the junkyard. I called Chevy to see if I could get the code to unlock it and they told me I had to go to a Chevy dealership which I did. Cost $40.

TPMS on 2006 Chevy Impala

I have an 05 impala and there is a setting in the Radio to reset the oil life and TPMS system, I'd look in the owners manual to see how to access this feature on the 06 but it should be there.
