Did you test the battery out of the car? It sounds like you just blew a fuse. Check all fuses, both under the dash and in the engine bay.

Horn doesn't work fuse and relay replaces but gets hot

Short in wiring or horn. Disconnect horn from vehicle wiring. I would run a wire from the positive (+) side of battery and touch to the terminal the horn (careful not to touch the bare wire to the car or horn body). If horn sounds, you have the joy of finding a short. They make a tool for that. If the horn doesn't sound off, you need a new one.

The battery in our 5th wheel Grand Design Solitude 369RL was boiling hot and actually spilled acid!

A bad short to the ground, which is the frame or bodywork of the car. Disconect the battery so It doesn't drain. I find a very careful visual inspection with a bright led flashlight in the dark may reveal wires touching body metal. Did Dealer do anything with the battery? Or what was the service done? Be sure to mark location of short if you find it. If dealer did any electrical work, that may also be source of the short.

all you need to do is check if power window motor, and switch is good.
to do this unhook socket of window motor you see 2 pins for up and down , ground window motor body to car body find hot wire from car or + from battery touch to one of the pins if the motor runs your switch is bad if motor does not run replace motor.

Which post do you connect first when installing a battier

the ground cable always connects first, makes it so you car is grounded to the ground instead of your electrical components, which will prevent them from burning out if a power surge occurs

Wire on ignition switch is hot to touch. will not

Possible ignition switch is not able to carry over 12 volts to starter solenoid on the wall. Measure using voltmeter, power coming in to small wire on starter solenoid. Should read battery voltage. If not, ignition switch may be shorting out.

You have 2 wires touching somewere.  Possable burnt together. Check the wires at the soleniod one is ground one is hot from the switch. remove the wires hook up battery with a 12vdc test light or volt/ohm meter ck for voltage on the wires. find the hot one and trace it thru the harness cut any ties or remove and coil like cover you should find the spot where it is burnt together or just rubbing.
