2005 Chev Cobalt: The back up lights don't work: Not a fuse.

The wiring all appears to be fine.

Have you tested the back up light switch on the transmission? that is the most likely cause

Lights flicker on 2005 Cobalt

I have a 2005 chev colbolt with the check engine light on and it keeps bogging out on me it will go 60 one minute and barely be able to move the next


my 2005 chevy cobalt is having same problem- sometimes even turn on car and it will not go anywhere as if it has no gas---- needs to have o2 sensor replaced...see if that helps yours!

does it crank at all?
do your lights go on when you turn them on?
does your dome light go on when you open the door?

if no......then your battery is dead

The bulb has two elements in it. one of them is probably blown.

2005 chevy cobalt check engine light


You need to get the computer scanned. This can be done at Auto Zone or similar parts stores free of charge. More than likely you will just need new spark plugs and/or plug wires but I cannot be certain without the engine code.

I am sorry, but the factory default radio in all 2005 cobalt models does not have auxiliary audio input jacks anywhere. I wish they did.
